Business/Systems Analyst (SOW)

Piper Companies is seeking a Business/Systems Analyst (SOW) to join a leading financial services organization for a 12-month contract opportunity. The Business/Systems Analyst (SOW) will support enterprise modernization initiatives by partnering with business leaders, product teams, and technology stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze data, and improve reporting capabilities in a complex technical environment. This is a fully remote position.

Responsibilities of the Business/Systems Analyst (SOW) include:

• Work closely with business and technology teams to elicit, document, and refine functional and technical requirements.

• Analyze large datasets and reporting outputs to identify trends, validate results, and support strategic initiatives.

• Collaborate with project stakeholders to ensure modernization efforts are accurately reflected in reporting and analytics solutions.

• Translate business objectives into detailed specifications and partner with development teams throughout implementation.

• Assist with testing, data validation, and issue resolution to support successful project delivery.

Qualifications for the Business/Systems Analyst (SOW) include:

• 7+ years of experience as a Business Analyst and/or Systems Analyst within large enterprise environments.

• Strong knowledge of mainframe systems, architecture, and related technologies.

• Advanced SQL skills with experience querying and analyzing complex datasets.

• Hands-on experience working with Snowflake data platforms.

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify issues, and recommend solutions.

Compensation for the Business/Systems Analyst (SOW):

• Pay Rate: $60.00 - $65.00/hour

• Comprehensive Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, sick leave if required by law, and 401K
