DAS Service Technician III

Piper Companies is seeking a Senior Level DAS Service Technician to join a leading technology and professional services organization in either the DMV area or Ohio. This role supports the maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimization of Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS) and wireless infrastructure. The ideal candidate brings strong experience with RF systems, fiber infrastructure, and technical problem-solving in field service environments.

Responsibilities of the DAS Service Technician:

• Troubleshoot complex DAS, RF, fiber, and network-related issues.

• Perform advanced testing, fault isolation, and system validation.

• Analyze alarms, performance trends, and recurring incidents to identify root causes.

• Support escalations with manufacturers, engineers, and carriers.

• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior technicians.

Qualifications of the DAS Service Technician:

• 5+ years of DAS, RF, wireless, or telecommunications experience.

• Advanced knowledge of DAS architecture, RF systems, fiber optics, and coaxial infrastructure.

• Experience with RF diagnostic and testing equipment.

• Ability to independently resolve complex technical issues.

• OEM or industry certifications related to DAS, RF, or fiber are preferred.

• Valid driver's license and ability to travel as needed.

• Must be eligible to work in the United States

Compensation of the DAS Service Technician:

• Salary Range: $120,000 - $140,000 (based on experience) plus vehicle allowance, laptop, and cell allowance with MBO
