Automation Manager

Piper Companies is seeking an Automation Manager to join a leading manufacturer within the pharmaceutical and healthcare products industry for a permanent onsite position located in Wilson, NC. The Automation Manager will lead automation strategy, oversee control system initiatives, and manage technical teams supporting manufacturing technology and operational performance.

Responsibilities of the Automation Manager include:

· Lead automation projects from concept through implementation.

· Manage engineers and technical specialists supporting manufacturing systems.

· Establish automation standards and technology roadmaps.

· Ensure control system reliability, cybersecurity, and compliance requirements.

· Collaborate with operations leadership to identify process improvement opportunities.

Qualifications for the Automation Manager include:

· Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.

· Experience leading automation programs within manufacturing environments.

· Strong knowledge of PLC, SCADA, HMI, and industrial control systems.

· Proven leadership and team development experience.

· Strong communication and strategic planning skills.

Compensation for the Automation Manager:

Salary Range: $125,000 - $155,000/year (USD)
