Technical Project Manager

Piper Companies is seeking a Technical Project Manager to support healthcare technology and data integration projects. This role will work closely with technical teams and stakeholders to manage projects from requirements gathering through sprint delivery and completion. The ideal candidate will have a Business Analyst or Technical Project Management background, healthcare experience, and hands-on experience with HL7.

Key Responsibilities of the TPM:

• Lead and coordinate technical projects across cross-functional teams
• Work with stakeholders to gather and document technical requirements
• Manage Jira tickets and project status throughout the Agile/Scrum lifecycle
• Facilitate sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives
• Track blockers, risks, and project deliverables through completion
• Support healthcare interfaces and data integration initiatives
• Coordinate with technical teams to troubleshoot issues and ensure successful releases

Required Qualifications of the TPM:

• 2–5 years of experience in Business Analysis, Technical Project Management, or Business Systems Analysis
• Hands-on experience with HL7
• Healthcare technology or healthcare data experience
• Experience with Agile/Scrum and Jira
• Strong stakeholder communication and project coordination skills
• Ability to manage projects from requirements through completion

Compensation of the TPM:

• $85,000–$100,000 annually
• 6-month contract-to-hire
• Fully remote
• Preference for candidates on the East Coast / near Columbia, MD
