Digital Web Developer

Piper Companies is seeking a Digital Web Developer to join a dynamic marketing team focused on website development, user experience optimization, SEO strategy, and digital marketing initiatives. This role will be responsible for building and maintaining WordPress websites, creating high-converting landing pages, improving website performance and usability, and implementing SEO best practices to increase organic traffic and engagement. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a collaborative environment where web development and digital marketing intersect to drive business growth. This is a remote opportunity for a company based out of North Carolina, and is contract to hire.

Responsibilities of the Digital Web Developer include:

·      Design, build, and maintain responsive WordPress websites to support business and marketing objectives.

·      Customize WordPress themes, plugins, and site functionality to meet project requirements and user needs.

·      Monitor and optimize website performance, security, and scalability to ensure a seamless user experience.

·      Create visually appealing, conversion-focused landing pages that drive engagement and lead generation.

·      Conduct usability testing and implement UX enhancements to improve website navigation, functionality, and customer retention.

·      Optimize website layouts, content structure, and user journeys to improve overall site performance and conversion rates.

Qualifications for the Digital Web Developer include:

·      Bachelor's degree in Web Development, Computer Science, Marketing, Digital Media, or a related field preferred.

·      Proven experience developing, managing, and customizing WordPress websites in a professional environment.

·      Strong understanding of UX/UI principles, responsive web design, and website optimization techniques.

·      Experience implementing SEO strategies, conducting keyword research, and utilizing tools such as Google Analytics and Google Search Console.

·      Knowledge of digital marketing channels, including email marketing, social media marketing, PPC advertising, and campaign analytics.

·      Proficiency in HTML and CSS; experience with PHP and WordPress development best practices is a plus.

·      Experience with WordPress page builders such as Elementor, Divi, or similar platforms.

Compensation for the Digital Web Developer includes:

·      Salary Range: $80,000 – $100,000/year
