Web Developer

Piper Companies is seeking a Web Developer to join a growing organization in the digital marketing and technology industry for a fully remote 6-month contract to hire opportunity. The Web Developer will support the development and optimization of web properties, enhance user experiences, and contribute to digital marketing initiatives through WordPress development, SEO strategy, and website performance improvements.

Responsibilities of the Web Developer include:

· Develop, update, and support WordPress websites to ensure a seamless user experience across desktop and mobile devices.

· Configure and modify themes, plugins, and site functionality to align with project and business needs.

· Build and refine landing pages intended to improve visitor engagement and conversion rates.

· Apply SEO best practices, evaluate website performance metrics, and recommend optimization opportunities.

· Partner with marketing teams to support digital campaigns and analyze website traffic, user behavior, and campaign effectiveness.

Qualifications for the Web Developer include:

· 3+ years of experience working with WordPress website development and administration.

· Strong knowledge of responsive web design, UX best practices, and website optimization techniques.

· Experience with SEO, keyword research, Google Analytics, and website performance reporting.

· Working knowledge of HTML and CSS; exposure to PHP is preferred.

· Familiarity with digital marketing concepts including email campaigns, social media, PPC, and conversion optimization.

Compensation for the Web Developer:

Salary Range: $45-$50/hr
