FedRAMP Program Manager

Piper Companies is seeking a FedRAMP Program Manager to support a leading technology organization focused on secure cloud and compliance-driven environments. The FedRAMP Program Manager will lead initiatives that support security platforms and operational controls required for applications to achieve and maintain FedRAMP Moderate compliance. The FedRAMP Program Manager is a long term contract opportunity and requires you to work EST hours.

Responsibilities of the FedRAMP Program Manager:

• Lead programs supporting security, compliance, and operational readiness within FedRAMP Moderate environments.
• Coordinate project timelines, risks, and stakeholder communications across engineering, security, and operations teams.
• Support compliance readiness and continuous monitoring activities.
• Partner with internal teams and clients to ensure secure application deployment and operational excellence.
• Drive process improvements that enhance security, compliance, and service delivery.

Requirements of the FedRAMP Program Manager:

• 5+ years of project and/or program management experience in technology environments.
• Previous hands-on experience in Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), cloud operations, or infrastructure operations.
• Strong understanding of FedRAMP Moderate requirements, security controls, and compliance frameworks.
• Experience managing complex cloud, security, and infrastructure-related programs.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and risk management skills.
• Preferred location: Raleigh-Durham (RTP), NC, with remote candidates in the Eastern Time Zone also considered.

Compensation for the FedRAMP Program Manager:

• $125,000 - $155,000 depending on experience
• Full Comprehensive Benefits: Health, Vision, Dental, PTO, Paid Holiday and Sick Leave if Required by Law.
