Piper Companies is seeking an Senior Epic Program Manager to join a leading healthcare provider in and around Greater Philadelphia, PA. The Senior Epic Program Manager will lead complex Epic implementation and migration initiatives, overseeing multiple projects and cross-functional teams in order to ensure programs are successfully delivered within healthcare systems.
Responsibilities of the Senior Epic Program Manager:
• Lead complex Epic implementation, migration, and optimization projects within a hospital or health system environment
• Manage large and complex projects consisting of multiple workstream and teams across clinical and revenue cycle environments
• Partner with executive leadership, business stakeholders, and clinical managers to define program objectives, requirements, timelines, and deliverables
• Lead project planning, work breakdown structures, testing activities, go-live planning, risk management, and implementation efforts
• Oversee the evaluation, development, deployment, and optimization of custom and packaged software solutions within Epic applications
• Coordinate project budgets, timelines, resources, and vendor relationships throughout the project lifecycle
Qualifications of the Senior Epic Program Manager:
• 8+ years of program and project management experience within complex healthcare information systems environments
• Strong healthcare industry background with experience supporting provider organizations
• Demonstrated leadership in Epic implementation, migration, or optimization projects in health system environments
• Strong knowledge of Epic applications, with experience supporting modules such as Provider, Beaker, Clinical Applications, Ambulatory, and/or Revenue Cycle applications
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while coordinating teams of 2-10+ resources across various business functions
• Strong business analysis skills with experience gathering business and functional requirements, facilitating meetings, and delivering executive presentations
• Experience with project management methodologies, software development lifecycles, testing, go-live planning, and healthcare operations
• PMP certification or equivalent project management credentials preferred
Compensation for the Senior Epic Program Manager includes:
• Pay Rate: $70 - $75/hour (based on experience)
• Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and retirement plans
• Fully remote role with occasional on-site work
• 6 Month Contract to Hire
