Maintenance Supervisor

Piper Companies is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to support overnight manufacturing operations within a pharmaceutical production environment. The Maintenance Supervisor will oversee maintenance personnel, coordinate equipment reliability efforts, and ensure efficient execution of maintenance activities on a 2-2-3 schedule. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader with previous shift leadership or supervisory experience and a strong maintenance background.

Responsibilities of the Maintenance Supervisor:

• Lead and supervise maintenance technicians during assigned shifts.

• Coordinate preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities to support production goals.

• Troubleshoot and assist with complex equipment issues when necessary.

• Monitor work execution to ensure compliance with safety, GMP, and operational requirements.

• Provide coaching, training, and performance guidance to maintenance team members.

• Partner with operations, engineering, and quality teams to improve equipment reliability and efficiency.

• Ensure maintenance documentation and work orders are completed accurately and on time.

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on uptime, safety, and productivity.

Qualifications of the Maintenance Supervisor:

• Previous maintenance leadership, shift lead, or supervisory experience.

• Pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or regulated manufacturing experience preferred.

• Strong background in industrial maintenance, troubleshooting, and equipment reliability.

• Experience leading teams in a manufacturing environment.

• Knowledge of GMP-regulated operations is highly preferred.

• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work a night shift 2-2-3 schedule.

Compensation for the Maintenance Supervisor includes:

• Salary range: $70,000 - $100,000 depending on experience.
