Piper Companies is seeking a Technical Program Manager to support a growing client in the advanced manufacturing industry in Santa Clara, CA. The Technical Program Manager role requires onsite collaboration and significant travel during the initial onboarding period. The Technical Program Manager role is ideal for an experienced program manager with expertise in hardware development, manufacturing operations, and cross-functional program execution.
Responsibilities of the Technical Program Manager include:
• Oversee end-to-end execution of complex manufacturing and hardware programs, ensuring milestones and deliverables are achieved.
• Drive alignment across engineering, production, sourcing, quality, and customer stakeholders in a dynamic environment.
• Evaluate risks, remove roadblocks, and facilitate critical business decisions to maintain program success.
• Manage competing priorities between customers and internal teams while fostering productive working relationships.
• Partner with global manufacturing organizations to support product launches, operational readiness, and ongoing production.
Requirements of the Technical Program Manager include:
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 4+ years of Program Management experience within hardware, manufacturing, mechanical, or industrial product environments.
• Proven ability to thrive in high-chaos environments where priorities frequently shift and rapid decision-making is required.
• Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and conflict resolution capabilities.
• Ability to travel 50-60% domestically during the first phase of employment and 10-20% internationally to manufacturing partners in Mexico and China.
Compensation for the Technical Program Manager include:
• 120,000 - 150,000 annually
