Technical Compliance Engineer

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Technical Compliance Engineer to join a growing client in the cybersecurity and product certification industry in the United States. The Technical Compliance Engineer role is fully remote. The Technical Compliance Engineer role is ideal for an experienced engineer with expertise in regulatory compliance, Common Criteria certifications, CE marking requirements, and global product compliance standards.

Responsibilities of the Technical Compliance Engineer include:

• Evaluate products against Common Criteria requirements, regulatory standards, and certification frameworks to support successful compliance initiatives.

• Partner with engineering, product, and certification teams to assess compliance risks and recommend corrective actions throughout the product lifecycle.

• Interpret and apply CE marking requirements, EU directives, and international regulatory standards to ensure product readiness for global markets.

• Prepare, review, and maintain technical documentation, compliance reports, declarations of conformity, and certification deliverables.

• Serve as a subject matter expert on product compliance, providing guidance to internal stakeholders and supporting external audits and certification activities.

Requirements of the Technical Compliance Engineer include:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related technical discipline.

• Experience working with Common Criteria, product certifications, and regulatory compliance programs.

• Strong knowledge of CE marking requirements, EU directives, and international compliance standards.

• Familiarity with technical documentation, risk assessments, conformity assessments, and certification processes.

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across engineering, compliance, and customer-facing teams.

Compensation for the Technical Compliance Engineer include:

• $110,000 - $130,000 annually
