Piper Companies is seeking a WordPress Web Developer to support a nonprofit organization within the education technologies and services industry for a 6 month contract to hire term remote role based in East Coast. The WordPress Web Developer role will build WordPress websites and ensure ads are driving traffic to the client's website.
Responsibilities of the WordPress Web Developer:
- Design, build, and maintain responsive WordPress websites.
- Create visually appealing, conversion-focused landing pages.
- Implement on-page and technical SEO best practices
- Collaborate on marketing campaigns, email marketing, and social media strategies
Qualifications of the WordPress Web Developer:
- Proven experience with WordPress development and customization
- Strong understanding of UX principles and responsive design.
- Knowledge of SEO strategies, Google Analytics, and keyword tools.
- Familiarity with digital marketing tactics (email, social media, PPC).
- Basic HTML/CSS skills; PHP knowledge is a plus.
Compensation for the WordPress Web Developer includes:
- Salary range: $45 – $48 USD per hour depending on professional experience
