Physical Therapist

Piper Companies is seeking a Physical Therapist to join a growing outpatient orthopedic practice in Centreville, VA. This position is fully onsite. Responsibilities for the Physical Therapist include: 

• Evaluate and treat patients in an outpatient orthopedic setting

• Develop individualized treatment plans for post-surgical patients, chronic pain cases, sprains, strains, and high school athletes

• Manage a caseload of approximately 10–11 patients per 8-hour workday

• Provide one-on-one patient care with no double-booking and no therapy aides

• Utilize treatment modalities and techniques based on clinical judgment and patient needs

• Complete accurate and timely documentation using Prompt EMR with AI-assisted technology

• Collaborate with fellow therapists and clinic leadership to ensure positive patient outcomes

Required Qualifications for the Physical Therapist include: 

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program

• Successful completion of the National Physical Therapy Examination (NPTE)

• Licensed, certified, or registered in accordance with applicable state law

• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

• Strong communication and patient relationship skills

• Ability to perform the physical requirements of the role, including lifting up to 50 pounds

• New graduates are encouraged to apply; no prior experience required

Compensation for the Physical Therapist includes: • Salary Range: $75,000 – $85,000 annually
