Piper Companies is seeking a Signal Integrity Engineer to support the development, validation, and optimization of high-speed hardware systems for a leading technology organization. The Signal Integrity Engineer will play a critical role in analyzing high-speed interfaces, troubleshooting signal quality issues, and collaborating with global engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure product performance and reliability. The Signal Integrity Engineer allows you to work remote in the United States.
Responsibilities of the Signal Integrity Engineer:
- Conduct signal integrity analysis for high-speed interfaces, including SerDes channels and related interconnects.
- Review and analyze test data to identify performance issues and validate system compliance.
- Perform channel analysis, troubleshooting, and root cause investigations for signal integrity concerns.
- Develop and recommend corrective actions to address hardware and performance-related issues.
- Collaborate with design, validation, and manufacturing teams throughout the product development lifecycle.
- Support factory teams during product bring-up, testing, and production activities.
- Communicate technical findings and recommendations to cross-functional stakeholders across multiple regions.
Requirements of the Signal Integrity Engineer:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 5+ years of experience in Signal Integrity (SI) engineering.
- Strong Signal Integrity experience with hands-on SerDes knowledge and channel analysis/troubleshooting.
- Experience reviewing test data, diagnosing issues, identifying root causes, and recommending corrective actions.
- Proficiency with SI simulation and analysis tools.
- Knowledge of high-speed PCB design, interconnects, and system-level hardware architectures.
- Ability to travel internationally and collaborate with factory teams across multiple time zones, including overlap with China-based teams.
Compensation for the Signal Integrity Engineer:
- $100,000 - $190,000
