Piper Companies is seeking an Epic Project Manager to support a leading healthcare system in the greater Philadelphia area. The Epic Project Manager will be responsible for leading Epic implementation and application initiatives across clinical, revenue cycle, ambulatory, and other enterprise healthcare environments.
Responsibilities of the Epic Project Manager
• Lead full project lifecycles for Epic implementations, application initiatives, upgrades, integrations, and software migrations
• Manage Epic projects across areas such as Clinical, Revenue Cycle, Ambulatory, Provider, Beaker, Willow, and/or Beacon
• Partner with clinical, revenue cycle, IT, and operational stakeholders to define requirements and drive project alignment
• Develop project plans, facilitate meetings, track milestones, and provide status updates to leadership
• Identify project risks, manage issues and dependencies, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful delivery
• Coordinate cross-functional teams and manage multiple concurrent Epic and healthcare application projects
Qualifications of the Epic Project Manager
• 5+ years of IT Project Management, Implementation Management, or related project leadership experience
• Proven experience supporting Epic implementations, deployments, upgrades, integrations, or other large-scale Epic initiatives
• Experience within one or more Epic areas such as Clinical, Revenue Cycle, Ambulatory, Provider, Beaker, Willow, or Beacon
• Hospital or health system experience with an understanding of clinical and/or revenue cycle workflows
Compensation for the Epic Project Manager:
• Pay Rate: $70-75/hr.
