Enterprise Architect - Cloud Transformation

Piper Companies is seeking an Enterprise Architect Consultant – Cloud Transformation to support large-scale enterprise cloud transformation initiatives. This is a highly client-facing consulting role responsible for defining enterprise technology strategy, designing cloud and reference architectures, and remaining engaged through technical implementation.

Responsibilities for the Enterprise Architect Consultant Include:

• Partner with enterprise executives and technology leaders to define business objectives, technical requirements, and transformation priorities.
• Lead client discovery sessions, stakeholder interviews, architecture workshops, and requirements gathering.
• Translate business objectives into enterprise technology strategies, transformation roadmaps, and actionable implementation plans.
• Design enterprise reference architectures, cloud architectures, landing zones, and application modernization strategies.
• Develop cloud migration and application onboarding roadmaps across complex enterprise environments.
• Lead architecture decisions throughout implementation, partnering directly with engineering, infrastructure, security, compliance, and program teams.
• Present architecture recommendations and transformation strategies to C-suite and senior technology leadership.
• Serve as a trusted technical advisor while navigating complex stakeholder environments and competing organizational priorities.

Qualifications for the Enterprise Architect Consultant Include:

• 10+ years of experience across Enterprise Architecture, Cloud Architecture, Infrastructure Architecture, or Technology Consulting.
• Significant experience working in a client-facing technology consulting environment.
• Proven experience leading enterprise architecture and/or large-scale cloud transformation initiatives.
• Strong understanding of modern cloud architecture, enterprise infrastructure, and application modernization.
• Experience developing enterprise/cloud reference architectures, cloud migration strategies, and transformation roadmaps.
• Experience designing or supporting enterprise cloud landing zones and compliant cloud environments.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical architecture and executable implementation strategies.
• Experience working directly with engineering teams throughout technical implementation.

Compensation for the Enterprise Architect Consultant Includes:

Compensation: $200,000 - $250,000 annually depending on experience
