Clinical Project Manager

Piper Companies is seeking a Clinical Project Manager to support a growing client in the clinical research industry in the United States. The Clinical Project Manager role is fully remote. The Clinical Project Manager role is ideal for an experienced clinical research professional with a strong background managing global studies, financial oversight, and CRO operations across Phase I-III clinical trials.

Responsibilities of the Clinical Project Manager include:

• Direct and oversee Phase I-III clinical trials from study start-up through closeout, ensuring timelines, quality standards, and deliverables are achieved.

• Serve as the primary point of contact for sponsors, vendors, and internal stakeholders while driving operational success across global study teams.

• Manage study budgets, forecasts, and financial performance, ensuring projects remain within scope and aligned with contractual obligations.

• Lead bid defense meetings and support business development initiatives by contributing operational expertise and strategic planning.

• Identify and mitigate study risks, monitor project performance metrics, and implement corrective actions when necessary.

Requirements of the Clinical Project Manager include:

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical Research, Life Sciences, or a related field; equivalent relevant experience will also be considered.

• 4+ years of clinical trial management experience within a CRO environment.

• Strong knowledge of clinical trial processes and experience overseeing Phase I-III studies, preferably large global trials.

• Experience participating in bid defenses and supporting business development management activities.

• Proven ability to manage financial oversight, study budgets, and project forecasting.

Compensation for the Clinical Project Manager include:

• $140,000 - $170,000 annually
