Devops Engineer

Piper Companies is seeking a DevOps Engineer to support enterprise automation and software delivery initiatives within a government-focused technology environment. The DevOps Engineer will help build and maintain CI/CD pipelines while improving deployment efficiency and operational reliability.

Responsibilities of the DevOps Engineer:

• Build, support, and optimize CI/CD pipelines.

• Automate deployment and release management processes.

• Collaborate with development teams to improve software delivery practices.

• Implement infrastructure automation and configuration management solutions.

• Monitor deployment performance and troubleshoot delivery issues.

• Support cloud-based application environments.

Qualifications of the DevOps Engineer:

• Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance.

• 4+ years of DevOps or Systems Engineering experience.

• Experience building CI/CD pipelines using modern automation tools.

• Knowledge of source control platforms and release management processes.

• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure and container technologies.

• Experience scripting with Bash, Python, or PowerShell.

• Strong communication and troubleshooting skills.

Compensation for the DevOps Engineer includes:

• Salary range: $130,000 - $180,000 depending on experience
