BIM Coordinator

Piper Companies is seeking a BIM Coordinator to join a leading engineering, construction, and technical project delivery organization supporting large-scale industrial and mission-critical projects. The BIM Coordinator will be responsible for managing model integration activities, ensuring effective cross-disciplinary collaboration, and driving coordination efforts across complex design and construction programs. This is a 6-month contract opportunity that can be performed remotely on the EST time zone, with periodic travel to Atlanta and occasional international travel as project needs require.

Responsibilities of the BIM Coordinator include:

· Lead multidisciplinary BIM coordination efforts to ensure design models are accurately integrated across project teams.

· Manage clash detection processes, facilitate issue resolution, and proactively minimize coordination conflicts throughout project execution.

· Maintain model environments, linked files, and project configurations while supporting ongoing BIM administration activities.

· Monitor adherence to BIM standards, information requirements, and modeling procedures across participating disciplines.

· Facilitate coordination meetings, communicate project updates, and promote collaboration between design and delivery stakeholders.

Qualifications for the BIM Coordinator include:

· 5+ years of experience supporting BIM coordination, virtual design, or digital construction initiatives.

· Advanced proficiency with Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, and cloud-based collaboration platforms such as Autodesk Construction Cloud.

· Strong knowledge of multidisciplinary model coordination, clash management, and BIM best practices.

· Working understanding of ISO 19650 information management principles and IFC-based workflows.

· Experience supporting industrial, pharmaceutical, manufacturing, data center, or other highly technical construction environments preferred.

· Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.

Compensation for the BIM Coordinator:

Salary Range: $50-$58/hr (USD)
