Piper Companies is seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to build and enhance a platform that provides real-time visibility into security certification programs, project status, testing progress, and key milestones. This role will focus on developing scalable applications that aggregate data from multiple systems and deliver actionable insights through dashboards and reporting tools. This is a flexible hybrid opportunity requiring onsite presence just 2 days per week in RTP, NC. It is also a long-term contract with strong potential for extension and conversion to a full-time position, offering a unique opportunity to gain experience within a large, highly respected technology organization known for its innovation, scale, and career growth opportunities.
Responsibilities for the Senior Full Stack Software Engineer:
- Design and develop a web-based platform for tracking certification programs and project progress.
- Build front-end applications using React and backend services using Python.
- Integrate data from multiple internal systems, databases, and APIs.
- Develop dashboards, reporting tools, and workflow automation capabilities.
- Collaborate with engineering, security, and program teams to define requirements and deliver solutions.
- Ensure application performance, scalability, and security.
- Participate in Agile development activities.
Qualifications of the Senior Full Stack Engineer:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 5+ years of full-stack software development experience.
- Strong experience with Python and React.
- Experience integrating data from multiple sources and building reporting/dashboard solutions.
- Experience with REST APIs and modern application architectures.
- Agile development experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience supporting security, compliance, or certification programs.
- Cloud experience (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Experience building enterprise applications and workflow tools.
Compensation & Benefits of the Senior Software Engineer:
- $130,000 - $160,000 base salary
