Piper Companies is seeking a Project Manager for a growing technology organization in the Raleigh Durham, North Carolina area. The Project Manager role is a hybrid position with 2 days onsite in the RTP office. The Project Manager will oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of software development projects while partnering with cross-functional teams to ensure projects are completed on time and within scope. An ideal candidate for the Project Manager role is an organized leader with a strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and prior experience supporting software development initiatives.
Responsibilities of the Project Manager:
• Lead software development projects through all phases of the SDLC, from requirements gathering through deployment and post-launch support.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including engineering, product, QA, and business stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
• Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, budgets, and risk mitigation strategies.
• Facilitate project meetings, provide status updates, and communicate progress to leadership and stakeholders.
• Identify and resolve project roadblocks while ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Qualifications of the Project Manager:
• 3+ years of project management experience supporting software development projects.
• Strong understanding of SDLC methodologies, project planning, and delivery processes.
• Experience managing multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and organizational skills.
• PMP, Scrum Master, or other project management certifications are preferred but not required.
Compensation for the Project Manager includes:
• Salary range: $80,000 – $105,000 depending on experience
