Piper Companies is seeking a Cable Technician to support a commercial infrastructure and technology installation project through onsite work in Chantilly, VA. This is a great opportunity for individuals with a strong mechanical aptitude who enjoy hands-on work.
Responsibilities of the Cable Technician:
• Assist with structured cabling installations and device deployments.
• Support telecom room buildouts, racks, and infrastructure setup.
• Read blueprints and follow project requirements.
• Track materials/tools and maintain job site organization.
• Follow safety procedures and quality standards.
Qualifications of the Cable Technician:
• Cable pulling experience (preferred for successful candidates).
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
• Good attendance record.
• Reliability and dependability.
• OSHA 10 certification.
• Candidates must provide their own PPE
Compensation of the Cable Technician:
• Salary: $20 - $26 an hour (based on experience)
• Benefits: Comprehensive benefit package; Cigna Medical, Cigna Dental, Vision, 401k w/ ADP, PTO, paid holidays, sick Leave as required by law
