Piper Companies is seeking an Operations Manager to support data center infrastructure projects throughout Northern Virgina through hybrid work. This individual will partner closely with leadership to drive project execution, oversee team growth, and support day-to-day operations across multiple active projects.
Responsibilities of the Operations Manager:
• Support execution and delivery of data center infrastructure projects.
• Manage scheduling, workforce planning, and onboarding activities.
• Lead and develop superintendents, foremen, technicians, and field teams.
• Coordinate vendor partners, resources, and project priorities.
• Partner with leadership on operational planning and upcoming projects.
• Monitor project performance and drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications of the Operations Manager:
• 5+ years of data center operations, construction, or project leadership experience.
• Experience supporting Microsoft, Oracle, AWS, or similar hyperscale data center environments.
• Strong knowledge of data center infrastructure, including cabling, fiber, racks, and cabinets.
• Experience leading foremen, technicians, or large field teams.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Compensation of the Operations Manager:
• Salary Range: $100,000 - $120,000 (based on experience)
• Comprehensive benefit package; Cigna Medical, Cigna Dental, Vision, 401k w/ ADP, PTO, paid holidays, Sick Leave as required by law
