Scientist - Analytical Development

Piper Companies is currently seeking a Scientist – Analytical Development to join an innovative and growing cell therapy company in Branchburg, NJ. This role will support analytical development and routine quality control testing within a GMP-regulated environment.

Responsibilities for the Associate Scientist – Analytical Development:

• Perform analytical testing to support cell therapy development and manufacturing activities.

• Execute cell-based assays, molecular assays, and/or flow cytometry testing.

• Support analytical method development and routine QC testing.

• Document laboratory results and ensure compliance with GMP procedures.

• Collaborate with Analytical Development and Quality Control teams to support testing needs.

Qualifications for the Associate Scientist – Analytical Development:

• 5+ years of relevant experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or cell therapy environments preferred.

• Experience with cell-based assays, molecular biology techniques, and/or flow cytometry.

• Background in analytical development or QC testing within a GMP environment.

• Experience with cell culture and laboratory documentation practices preferred.

• Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Biotechnology, or a related scientific field

Compensation for the Associate Scientist – Analytical Development:

• Pay Rate: $40-45/hr.
• Contract to hire opportunity
