IAM Engineer - 176425

Piper Companies is seeking an IAM Engineer to join a leading enterprise technology organization focused on modern identity, access management, and cloud security initiatives. The IAM Engineer will be responsible for supporting enterprise authentication platforms, implementing secure SSO solutions, and driving identity integrations across cloud, SaaS, and on-premises environments.

Responsibilities of the IAM Engineer:

• Design, implement, and support enterprise Single Sign-On (SSO) and identity federation solutions across complex application environments.

• Configure and troubleshoot SAML 2.0, OAuth 2.0, and OpenID Connect (OIDC) integrations between applications and identity providers.

• Integrate SaaS, cloud, and on-premises applications with Okta and Microsoft Entra ID for SSO and MFA.

• Automate IAM deployments and configuration management using Terraform, Terragrunt, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices.

• Diagnose and resolve authentication, authorization, MFA, and identity federation issues in production environments.

• Partner with security, compliance, and application teams to ensure alignment with zero-trust architecture and enterprise security standards.

Qualifications of the IAM Engineer:

• 5+ years of experience in Identity and Access Management (IAM), Identity Federation, or Security Engineering.

• Hands-on experience administering and integrating Okta and Microsoft Entra ID environments.

• Strong knowledge of SAML 2.0, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect (OIDC), and authentication technologies.

• Experience with Terraform, Terragrunt, or other Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.

• Knowledge of certificate management, cryptographic trust relationships, and token security concepts.

• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Compensation for the IAM Engineer includes:

• Salary range: $120,000 - $145,000 depending on experience
