Business Analyst

Piper Companies is seeking a Business Analyst for a worldwide technology organization. The Business Analyst position is fully remote working EST hours. The Business Analyst will partner with stakeholders, project teams, and business leaders to gather requirements, analyze business processes, and drive operational improvements. An ideal candidate for the Business Analyst is one who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and enjoys translating business needs into actionable solutions.

Responsibilities of the Business Analyst:

• Gather, document, and analyze business and functional requirements from key stakeholders.
• Facilitate meetings and workshops to identify business needs, process improvements, and project objectives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support system implementations, enhancements, and process optimization initiatives.
• Analyze business data and performance metrics to identify trends and provide actionable recommendations.
• Assist with user acceptance testing (UAT), issue resolution, and project documentation.

Qualifications of the Business Analyst:

• 2+ years of experience as a Business Analyst supporting business, technology, or operational initiatives.
• Prior experience building customer portals or related software projects.
• Strong ability to gather requirements and translate complex business needs into clear and actionable documentation.
• Experience supporting Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall project environments.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet project deadlines in a remote work environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Finance, or a related field preferred.

Compensation for the Business Analyst includes:

• Salary range: $70,000-$90,000 annually.
• 12+ month contract opportunity with potential for extension.
• Fully remote work environment.
• Estimated 40 hours per week.
