General Medicine Clinical Project Manager

Piper Companies is seeking a Project Manager to join a growing global clinical research organization for a remote permanent position based in the United States. The Project Manager will serve as the primary point of contact for sponsors while overseeing the successful execution of Phase I-III clinical trials, ensuring studies are delivered on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities of the Project Manager include:

· Lead cross-functional clinical study teams and manage all aspects of project delivery from start-up through study closeout.

· Serve as the primary liaison for sponsors, providing project updates, addressing risks, and ensuring high levels of client satisfaction.

· Oversee project financials, including forecasting, budget management, profitability tracking, and scope change management.

· Coordinate global and regional study activities, including vendor oversight, site performance, enrollment strategies, and operational timelines.

· Support business development efforts through feasibility assessments, proposal support, bid defense participation, and identification of growth opportunities.

Qualifications for the Project Manager include:

· 5+ years of experience in Project Management within a Clinical Research Organization (CRO) environment.

· Experience managing Phase I-III clinical trials, including large-scale global or multi-country studies.

· Demonstrated expertise in financial management, forecasting, contract scope oversight, and study budget accountability.

· Experience participating in bid defense meetings and collaborating with business development teams.

· Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Clinical Research, Nursing, or a related scientific discipline.

Compensation for the Project Manager:

Salary Range: $140,000-$170,000/year (USD)
