Chief UI Software Architect

Piper Companies is seeking a Chief UI Software Architect in the Arlington, Virginia area for a world leading technology organization. The Chief UI Software Architect will be responsible for the overall UI strategy, leadership, and architecture of a world class industry changing product. All the architecture efforts the Chief UI Software Architect will be leading are brand new.

Responsibilities for the Chief UI Software Architect include:

·       Collaborate with cross-functional roles to communicate and align development efforts with Architecture Roadmap

·       Partner with Scrum Teams to align development efforts to the Architecture Roadmap

·       Create, improve and define processes and best UI architectural practices

·       Collaborate with product teams to understand business and product goals

Requirements for the Chief UI Software Architect include:

·       Over 8 years of architecture and web application development experience in a production environment

·       Proven experience architecting high performing UIs

·       Strong experience leveraging JavaScript frameworks such as Angular or React

·       Experience successful building and releasing software products

·       Strong Agile experience

·       Strong verbal and written communication skills

·       Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering and/or relevant works experience

Compensation of the Chief UI Software Architect: $170,000 - $225,000 plus a comprehensive benefits package
