Entry Level Technical Support Engineer 

Piper Companies has an excellent opportunity for an entry level Technical Support Engineer to join a growing ISP/Telecomm Company in Raleigh, NC. This client is looking to build out their route/switch engineering team due to new business for the company.   This is a great way to start a career in Support/Network Engineering.

Responsibilities & Requirements for the NOC Engineer III:

  • 0-1 year+ of experience in Network troubleshooting 
  • Layer I/II troubleshooting experience
  • Experience troubleshooting Cisco routers & switches
  • Working with third party ISP vendors and creating detailed documentation
  • Experience monitoring site locations and responding to outages
  • Network Plus and Cisco Certifications are a plus

Compensation for the Technical Support Engineer: 

  • DOE
  • Plus a comprehensive benefits package
