JOB DESCRIPTION

Piper Clinical Solutions is currently seeking a driven Healthcare Technical Support Specialist in Rockville, Maryland (MD) to support a leading healthcare and software company. The Healthcare Technical Support Specialist role will work closely with the technical services teams to provide EHR technical expertise and support to healthcare clients.


Responsibilities for the Healthcare Technical Support Specialist:

·        Provide technical support to partners and their users by investigating and responding to questions; troubleshooting issues and enhancing EMR/ EHR software performance

·        Collaborate with internal quality assurance (QA), Software Development and Technology Infrastructure teams to ensure resolution to client issues and updates

·        Offer exemplary customer service to partners and users by proactively responding to requests in a clear, concise and timely manner

·        Grant new user access to existing clients and train new client users on EMR software

·        Proactively update partners and users on the status of their support tickets

·        Efficiently manage Partner and client request tickets by following company guidelines

·        Deliver in depth time tracking of support provided to clients

·        Provide training assistance on the functionality of the EMR/ EHR software for all ongoing users

·        Identify and resolve system and database issues related to EMR product

·        Collaborate with account management team to implement action plans


Requirements for the Healthcare Technical Support Specialist:

·        1+ year of healthcare or technical services experience

·        Experience with EHR, EMR, or Healthcare Information Technology (HIT)

·        Bachelor’s degree preferred


Compensation for the Healthcare Technical Support Specialist:

·        Salary between $50,000-$100,000 commensurate with experience
