Java Engineer

Piper Companies is currently looking for a Java Developer in Raleigh, North Carolina (NC) to join a team focused on improving integrated tools, expertise, services and support to enhance partner experience.

Responsibilities for the Java Developer include:

• Collaborate with the development team through the complete lifecycle of product development
• Utilize your peers when working together to integrate UI into application and business tiers
• Guide and train junior developers when it comes to software development best practices and procedures
• Enhance and maintain existing software system applications as its needed
• Create software modules and mechanisms that can be reused and make improvements to existing modules

Qualifications for the Java Developer include:

• 6+ years’ experience with Full Stack development
• Strong knowledge of Spring frameworks such as Spring MVC/Spring Boot
• Hands on experience with Front End development using Angular
• Experience with Cloud technologies (i.e. Docker, AWS) is preferred
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent

Compensation for the Java Developer include:

• Salary Range: $85,000- $95,000 based on skill level
• Comprehensive benefits include medical, dental, health, 401K, PTO, and stock options
