JOB DESCRIPTION
Piper Clinical Solutions is actively seeking a Maintenance Technician to join a well-established bio-tech company in the Raleigh / Durham area.
Responsibilities for Maintenance Technician II:
- Corrective and preventative maintenance of mechanical, plumbing, and hydraulic systems as well as manufacturing equipment.
- Electrical work involving pull wires (circuits, outlets, etc) and troubleshooting motor controls.
- Maintain two 30-year-old facilities (30k and 180k square ft) in accordance with GMP standards.
- Work 4 ten hour shifts per week; Monday through Sunday
Technical Requirements for Maintenance Technician II:
- Minimum 1 year hands on experience with maintenance of production equipment and GMP production suites
- Strong background with electrical work is a must; Experience with HVAC is a plus.
- Strong preference for ARC flash trained.
- Experience with PLC programming and BMS (business management system) preferred.
- Minimum 1 years of experience with maintenance of autoclaves, chillers, boilers, pumps, and piping.
- Experience working in a pharmaceutical environment is a plus.
Compensation & Benefits for Maintenance Technician II:
- Compensation: $20-30/hr, based on previous salary history and experience
