JOB DESCRIPTION

Piper Companies is currently looking for a Microsoft Technical Support Engineer in the Raleigh-Durham, North Carolina (NC) area. The Microsoft Technical Support Engineer will help support Skype for Business and Office 365 for a leading company in the Tech industry.

Responsibilities for the Microsoft Technical Support Engineer include:

  • Provide technical support to customers, identifying the root cause and creating solutions using hardware and software as required.
  • Partner with Engineering to implement changes to products initiated by customer issues and concerns.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of product information

Qualifications for the Microsoft Technical Support Engineer include:

  • 3+ years of Skype for Business and Office 365 support experience
  • Knowledge of back end support including; installation, configuration, and troubleshooting
  • Understanding of networking concepts, including some experience with VOIP and SIP troubleshooting
  • Bachelors’ Degree in Electronics Engineering or Computer Science

Compensation for Microsoft Technical Support Engineer include:

  • Annual salary range: $70,000-$80,000 (depending on experience)
