QA Engineer

JOB DESCRIPTION

Piper Companies is currently looking for a QA Engineer in Raleigh, North Carolina (NC) to work for a growing software company. The QA Engineer will be joining a team of 6 engineers to participate in the quality assurance efforts for the company’s web-based application.

Responsibilities for the QA Engineer include:

·      Execute and document test plans, test cases, and test scenarios

·      Perform ad-hoc testing, feature testing, manual testing, performance testing, and regression testing

·      Discover, prioritize, and track bugs during the development process

·      Execute and create automated function tests and regression tests

Qualifications for the QA Engineer include:

·      2-5 years’ experience with Manual and Automated testing

·      Proven scripting experience (Ruby, Javascript)

·      Independent thinker

Compensation for the QA Engineer include:

·      Salary Range: $70,000-$80,000 (depending on experience)
