Job Description:

DePuy Synthes, a Johnson & Johnson Company, is recruiting for a Sr. Planning Analyst in West Chester, PA

The Sr. Planning Analyst will collaborate with their Sales & Operations Planning partners to balance supply with demand to improve customer service and maximize financial performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manages priority deployment orders and exceptions for field inventory assets and set sales opportunities.
  • Handles inventory transfers & monitors status to ensure expedition, timely receipt, and completion of priority deployment orders.
  • Communicates with Commercial partners regarding inventory availability and manages the Short Term Exception Management processes and forums.
  • Proposes changes to Supply Chain Optimization elements (business rules, planning parameters) as necessary to E2E and Site-level planners.
  • Builds and maintains strong working relationship with upstream and downstream supply chain partners.
  • Supports the monthly S&OP processes with order status updates, reliability initiatives, and issue mitigation.

Qualifications

Education:

A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree is required with a focus in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering or related field preferred.

Experience and Skills:

  • A minimum of 4 years professional work experience in the Supply Chain or Engineering area is required.
  • Strong understanding of supply chain principles is required
  • APICS/Six Sigma/IBF certification is preferred
  • Good understanding of ERP systems, Advanced Planning Systems, including SAP and/or OMP and information technology is preferred
  • Ability to work independently in a structured and determined way is required
  • Ability to negotiate and influence without direct line authority in a matrix environment is required
  • Advanced skills with Microsoft Excel (vlookup, SUMIF, pivot tables, modeling, VBA) and Power Point are required
