JOB DESCRIPTION

Piper Companies is currently looking for a Technical Support Engineer to join one of their customers. This is a Full Time – Direct Hire opportunity with Full benefits, PTO, Stock Options, Cellphone & Internet Reimbursement, New & Cutting-Edge Technology, and Fantastic Internal Training & Development Opportunities.

Responsibilities for the Technical Support Engineer Include:

  • Assist with troubleshooting & configuration of the technical environment.
  • Install & configure exchange and active directory, troubleshoot exchange server, build out windows servers, configure new domains.
  • Communicate and explain technical issues in high level technical setting.
  • Document and contribute to knowledge base.

 Qualifications for the Technical Support Engineer Include:

  • 2+ years’ experience as a windows systems administrator or technical support engineer
  • Active directory administration; adding/changing/deleting accounts, group policy/GPO, organizational unit/OU (Must have experience beyond password resets)
  • Additional preferred experience
    • Networking (TCP/IP, routing, firewalls)
    • Exchange, VMware, NetApp/EMC, SQL, AWS/Azure, Scripting

 Compensation for the Technical Support Engineer Include:

  • Salary Range: $60,000 - $80,000 (Based on experience)
  • Competitive Benefits Package: PTO, Stock Options, Medical/Dental/Vision, Cellphone & Internet Reimbursement
