Cerner Integration Architect

Piper Companies is seeking a Cerner Integration Architect to join an established healthcare organization as the strategic lead for an Oracle/Cerner system integration, ensuring seamless coordination, validation, and implementation of application solutions across healthcare environments.



Responsibilities of the Cerner Integration Architect

• Design and implement integration strategies and domain architectures across Oracle/Cerner and related systems.
• Lead system validation, change management, and issue resolution processes to ensure operational continuity.
• Act as the primary escalation point for integration risks and complex technical issues.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to align application functionality with organizational goals.
• Oversee code management, upgrades, and regression testing to maintain system integrity.

Qualifications for the Cerner Integration Architect

• 5+ years of experience as an Oracle/Cerner Integration Architect.
• Deep expertise in Oracle/Cerner technologies including Bedrock, Configuration Manager, ESM, Install Tools, and Olympus.
• Proven experience with system integration, issue investigation, and root cause analysis.
• Strong understanding of change control, release management, and application lifecycle.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage vendor relationships.
• Experience supporting audits related to operations, finance, and privacy.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Healthcare Informatics, or a related field (preferred).

Compensation for the Cerner Integration Architect:

Hourly Rate: $85-$95--preference for W-2 candidates over 1099
