Microsoft Teams Collaboration Engineer

Piper Companies is seeking a Microsoft Teams Collaboration Engineer to join a cutting-edge enterprise environment focused on delivering high-availability collaboration and telephony solutions. This role is ideal for someone with deep expertise in Microsoft Teams, Teams Phone System, Direct Routing, and enterprise voice architecture.

Responsibilities of the Microsoft Teams Collaboration Engineer include:

• Design, implement, and support Microsoft Teams collaboration and telephony solutions.
• Manage Teams services, Phone System, Direct Routing, SIP trunking, and voice configurations.
• Lead Teams migration and integration projects with Microsoft 365 services.
• Support contact center operations and third-party integrations.
• Troubleshoot and monitor Teams services, ensuring high availability and compliance.
• Maintain documentation and provide escalation support for critical incidents.

Qualifications for the Microsoft Teams Collaboration Engineer include:

• Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 6+ years of experience with Microsoft Teams and enterprise collaboration.
• Expertise in Teams Phone System, Direct Routing, SIP trunking, and SBCs.
• Strong knowledge of dial plans, call routing, and voice resiliency.
• Experience with Teams migration and Microsoft 365 integration.
• Familiarity with voice network design, QoS, and regulatory requirements (e.g., E911).
• Preferred: Microsoft certifications (MS-720, MS-700), PowerShell scripting, Graph API, Vonage Contact Center, Power BI, and integration with Power Platform or ServiceNow.

Compensation for the Microsoft Teams Collaboration Engineer includes:

• Hourly Range: $55 - $65/hr W2
