ETL Developer

Piper Companies is seeking a Senior ETL Developer in Wayne, PA to support the continued growth and optimization of the client's data engineering capabilities. This role will play a critical part in maintaining technical excellence, ensuring operational efficiency, and enforcing development standards across both onshore and offshore resources.

Responsibilities for the Senior ETL Developer include:

• Design, develop, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines supporting enterprise data initiatives
• Write and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and database objects
• Identify and resolve data bottlenecks and performance inefficiencies
• Collaborate with offshore engineering resources to ensure code quality and standards
• Support reporting and analytics teams by delivering clean, structured data sets
• Contribute to cloud-based data platform initiatives and modernization efforts
• Participate in code reviews, documentation, and deployment processes

Qualifications for the Senior ETL Developer include:

• Strong SQL experience (complex queries, performance tuning, optimization)
• Experience with ETL/ELT tools (SSIS, ADF, Informatica, Talend, etc.)
• Python experience within data pipelines or transformation processes
• Tableau experience (data preparation and reporting support)
• Experience working within cloud data environments (AWS, Azure, Snowflake, etc.)

Compensation for the Senior ETL Developer include:

• Pay Rate: $100,000-$140,000
• 4 days a week onsite and 1 day work from home
