Clinical Research Associate

Piper Companies is actively seeking a Clinical Research Associate to join a well‑established, full‑service CRO supporting global clinical programs. This position is fully remote (U.S.-based) and requires 60–80% travel. The Clinical Research Associate will play a key role in ensuring studies are conducted in compliance with protocols, regulatory requirements, and timelines across multiple therapeutic areas, including cardiovascular, CNS, and metabolic/diabetes studies.

Responsibilities of the Clinical Research Associate:

• Monitor and oversee clinical trial activities across Phase I–IV studies in alignment with study protocols and regulatory standards
• Serve as the primary point of contact between sponsors and investigative sites
• Conduct onsite and remote monitoring visits, ensuring data integrity and patient safety
• Review and maintain study documentation and perform data evaluation to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Collaborate cross‑functionally to support study timelines, deliverables, and overall program execution
• Identify and escalate risks, deviations, and issues, supporting resolution and compliance efforts

Qualifications of the Clinical Research Associate:

• 1+ years of on-site clinical monitoring experience
• Therapeutic experience in Cardiovascular, CNS, and/or Diabetes/GLP‑1 studies (preferred)
• Experience working within a CRO or supporting full-service clinical programs required
• Strong knowledge of FDA regulations, ICH‑GCP guidelines, and clinical trial processes
• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences or a related field
• Ability to travel 60–80% regionally

Compensation for the Clinical Research Associate:

• Salary Range: $100,000 – $125,000, depending on experience
