Piper Companies is seeking a Technical Customer Success Engineer to join a leading organization in the enterprise networking and cloud solutions space for a 6-month hybrid contract opportunity based in Raleigh, NC. The Technical Customer Success Engineer will serve as both a technical advisor and customer-facing resource, supporting onboarding, activation, and adoption efforts across a large and growing customer base.
Responsibilities for the Technical Customer Success Engineer:
· Facilitate onboarding sessions with client stakeholders, including IT teams, to configure and activate platform capabilities within customer environments.
· Deploy and support virtual machine-based collectors/connectors within client networks, ensuring proper setup and connectivity.
· Guide customers through technical integrations, including API-based cloud-to-cloud connections and platform migrations.
· Act as the primary technical contact for troubleshooting onboarding issues, providing real-time solutions and escalation management.
· Prioritize customer interactions across varying levels of engagement, balancing high-touch implementations with scaled support efforts.
Qualifications for the Technical Customer Success Engineer:
· Hands-on experience with networking fundamentals, including vulnerability frameworks such as CVE/CVSS and lifecycle concepts like EOX/LDoS.
· Background in deploying virtual environments, system integrations, and working within customer network infrastructures.
· Familiarity with cloud platforms and migration processes, as well as secure software configuration practices.
· Proven ability to manage customer relationships in a technical, customer-facing role with strong communication and problem-solving skills.
· Experience working with APIs and supporting integrations in SaaS or cloud-based ecosystems.
Compensation for the Technical Customer Success Engineer:
Salary Range: $52,000-$72,000/year (USD)
